What is Dry Needling Therapy?
In dry needling, specific acupuncture points are utilized based on the presence of myofascial tissue crossover, which promotes a more effective healing response. Trigger points within the muscles. An electro-machine is sometimes used to provide additional stimulation and increase blood flow.
The primary objectives are to enhance tissue extensibility, reduce pain by triggering the release of natural opioids within the body, and promote increased blood flow to damaged tissues, thereby accelerating the healing process.
